| The reason I
like Sailor Neptune so much is that she's what everyone
aspires to be. I believe she's the smartest out of the
senshi, since she's as smart as Ami academically, and is
also very talented in other areas. Also, Michiru is totally
the opposite of Usagi, who, sorry Usagi fans, is a bit of a
crybaby, and slightly overrated.
Sailor Neptune's surname,
Kaioh, means "Ocean Ruler" and her given name,
Michiru, means "whole", or complete. Michiru
attends Infinity Academy, a very exclusive school, along
with Haruka and Hotaru.(Is it just me, or are the Outer
Senshi a whole lot better than the Inners?) Michiru can not
only play the violin, but she can juggle a lemon at the same
time. She has a painting displayed at a museum, and another
in an expensive cruise ship. The only senshi who is as good
a swimmer as her is Ami(naturally, the association with
water), who tied her in a swimming competition. Like I said,
perfect.^_^.
Michiru's date of birth is
March 6(Pisces), her favourite color is blue, her hobby is
to become a famous violinist, her hobby is collecting
cosmetics, and her favourite gemstone is aquamarine.
Okay.
Michiru and Haruka first
appeared in Sailormoon S. Their objective was to get the
heart crystals located in people with pure hearts. They
searched for the three talismans that, when combined, would
form the Holy Grail. As it turns out, Michiru had the first
talisman, the aqua mirror. Haruka had the second, the space
sword, and Setsuna the third, the garnet orb.
At the end of Sailormoon S,
Michiru, Haruka, and Setsuna leave, not to appear at all in
SuperS, save the movie and the special. When the Outer
Senshi reappear in Sailor Stars, Michiru and Haruka begin to
raise the baby Hotaru, after Setsuna predicted that her
power would be needed in the future.
The Outer Senshi didn't
make many appearances in Sailor Stars, and mostly appeared
only to bail the Inner Senshi out of trouble. Because of
their duty to protect the moon princess, the Outer Senshi
had a strong dislike for the Starlights, who they believed
to be a threat against Usagi.(Seiya Kou was in love with
Usagi, but it was important to the future that Usagi marry
Mamoru.)
In the end, after
attempting to kill Galaxia, Uranus and Neptune surrender to
her, and accept her bracelets. After killing Saturn and
Pluto, and fighting Moon and the Starlights, Neptune and
Uranus turn on Galaxia and blast her with her own weapons.
However, being immune to the blasts, Galaxia took away their
bracelets, As she and Neptune die slowly, Uranus resolves
their conflict by telling Starfighter to take care of Usagi.
After Usagi had defeated
the evil in Galaxia, and the senshi had revived, the show
ended with Hotaru asking Michiru what she wished for.
Michiru replied that they needn't wish for anything, they
were perfectly happy as it is.
